3. This warranty does not cover third party software upgrade, alteration or any rrlated software problem such as

c. Security lock
d. Root

5. This warranty will be null and in any of the following events :- a. If the serial number or warranty seal on the equipment has been defaced or removed b. If any term contained in this warranty has beem altered or modified in any way without the prior written consent

6. Request for replacement or repair within the warranty period without producing this warranty card will not be entertained

Perbezaan Antara Original, AP, Klon/Clone dan Refurbish@Recondition

Apa itu AP Set, Recond Set, dan Original Set?
Selalunya, apabila kita mahu membeli handphone baru pasti kita akan ditawarkan dengan 3 terma ini, iaitu AP, Ori dan Recond. Adakah anda benar-benar tahu apa disebalik ketiga-tiga terma ini? Mungkin ramai yang hanya melihat perbezaan harga yang ketara dan kualiti yang berbeza. Adakah AP dan recond set adalah set tiruan?
ORIGINAL SET
Original set bermaksud handphone dibeli daripada pengedar yang sah seperti Zitron (Nokia), Brightstar (Blackberry) dan SME(Samsung). Harga original set selalunya lebih mahal daripada set yang lain berikutan cukai yang dikenakan kerajaan dan pembelian adalah melalui pengedar (pengedar juga nak untung). Warranty untuk original set adalah keutamaan sebenarnya, iaitu warranty yang dibekalkan oleh pengedar sah ini boleh di-claim dimana-mana cawangan pengedar sah seluruh negara. Berbeza dengan warranty yang diperuntukkan oleh set AP dan recond.
AP SET
AP set sebenarnya juga original set, tetapi ia tidak dijual melalui pengedar yang sah. AP set boleh juga dikatakan masuk ke Malaysia melalui pengedar yang tidak sah dan tidak diketahui. Ini termasuk melalui pembelian secara borong oleh peniaga daripada ebay, atau pembelian secara terus dari luar negara. Harga yang ditawarkan adalah lebih rendahdaripada harga original set, tetapi warranty adalah sangat terhad. Terhad disini bermaksud warranty hanya boleh di-claim di kedai yang menjual handphone tersebut dan tidak boleh di-claim melalui pengedar yang sah. Sebagai contoh, anda membeli handphone blackberry AP set dari Alor Setar tetapi anda tinggal di Kuala Lumpur. Jika handphone tersebut mengalami apa-apa masalah, anda perlu merujuk kedai yang anda beli di Alor Setar. Kuality AP set adalah sama dengan original set.
RECOND SET
Recond set adalah berasal daripada perkataan “recondition” atau dalam bahasa melayunya “dibaikpulih”. Recond set adalah berasal daripada handphone-handphone yang rosak tetapi dibetulkan. Sebagai contoh, setiap kilang membuat handphone akan mempunyai “scrap” atau “reject” berikutan kualiti yang dikeluarkan tidak menyamai standard yang akan dijual kepada orang awam. Tetapi, handphone ini akan di “rework” untuk kualiti gred berbeza dan cara jualan yang berbeza. Sememangnya, ketiga-tiga jenis set handphone ini adalah datangnya daripada kilang yang sama tetapi kualiti dan warranty yang diberikan adalah berbeza. Warranty recond set sama seperti AP set dan harga recond set pula lebih rendah daripada AP set.
iPhone
iPhone berbeza dengan model-model handphone lain di pasaran kerana iPhone tidak mempunyai AP set. iPhone dijual melalui pengedar yang sah (apple store). iPhone juga sebenarnya tidak dibenarkan penjualan di kedai handphone biasa. Bahkan, kebanyakan kedai handphone biasa akan menjual iPhone dengan harga sedikit mahal daripada Apple Store kerana mereka juga membeli daripada Apple Store. Warranty yang diberikan oleh Apple adalah international warranty dan selalunya produk-produk apple dilindungi warranty dengan one-on-one. Bermaksud, jika iPhone yang anda beli rosak dalam tempoh warranty, anda boleh menukar iPhone anda dengan yang baru. iPhone juga mempunyai recond set. Recond set untuk iPhone sebenarnya sukar didapati kerana recond set ini adalah berasal daripada iPhone yang di-return kepada apple dalam tempoh warranty. Apple akan “recondition” semula iPhone yang rosak ini dan dijual oleh pengedar-pengedar yang tidak diketahui. Selalunya, recondition set untuk iPhone akan ada selepas beberapa model iPhone baru dilancarkan. Sebagai contoh, setelah iPhone 5 dikeluarkan, iPhone 4S dan iPhone 4 tidak akan dijual lagi oleh Apple. Set baru yang terdapat dalam pasaran selepas iPhone 5 dikeluarkan adalah recond set, ataupun iPhone yang tidak habis terjual sebelum pelancaran iPhone 5.
